Music to uplift the spirit...

The South Americans know how to party shall we say...Their music is uplifting and gives you that free spirit feeling.

Lyrics of their songs are either in Spanish or Quechua. The subjects include the earth, the seasons, harvest time, love, children, family and the stars. The instruments include pan pipes, flutes, rattles, the guitar (Introduced by the Spanish).

I have a passion for this style, and love nothing more on a Sunday afternoon listening to the music of love, with a crisp well chilled bottle of wine, coupled with cheese and breads, my two deadly sins as far as my figure goes, but hey "Amate" (love, value, be happy with yourself).

Newsflash...in fact my first love of music, listening to the love of my life on a sunday arvo without the cheese, oh but yes plenty of wine flowing...You sounded fabulous honey...xx

Until next time...

A time and a place...

Sitting here listening to what nature has to offer, and my mind conjures up thoughts of adventure...Imagine just getting off the gravy train, everything you have been taught about working until your retirement, paying those endless bills, and of course owning your own home is the biggest dream of all...

But then you think about what if I didn't have those constant bills and debt...That wouldn't be a bad thing...Yeh sure the house has given us a roof over our heads and security...But at what point do you get to enjoy the money it has made for you as investments go...Everyone imagines winning enough money to retire and being able to enjoy what life has to offer...

I have this dream of taking off and travelling around our vast country, and just going where the wind takes you, without the big plan that our lives dictate...I have commenced living my dream, learning to keep it simple stupid, not wanting for too much, and soaking it up. Creating only good thoughts, dreams, and make them come true, or at least visualize in the meantime...yeh well reality bites...

Talking to more people over 70, and under 6...Getting up close and personal with people that are doing it tough, and not being afraid...Have the child like imagination and not always feeling that sense of responsibility...

Letting go...Until next time...

What the world needs now is love sweet love...

It's the only thing there is just so little of...

I thought I would be bold and beautiful, being the time of year to be giving...what better gift to give than our hearts to anyone who might need it at this time, or anytime really...don't forget the writbiz gift that keeps on giving, and a gift of reflection, and lets not forget that wry smile...I have it on for $18 each with 2 for $30... I can assure you will love it!

Waterlogged

Picture this, or not...we woke to torrential rain on Sunday which ruined the chance of me sitting at the markets, bored out of my brain...shame really...well back to the picture...we are doing some reno's, though at present we could open up a mud spa. Just to get to my washing line I am knee deep in mud, well maybe a gross exaggeration but you get the picture...Then we noticed, whilst trying to improve our drainage, which wasn't quite finished... as Jeff... no that's another story...stay on track writbitz...well, we created a bigger problem, where the water was lying, it potentially could flood our shed which had been converted into our home office and music studio... Jeff got to work on channeling the water in a preferred direction...So, the picture is, typical alpha male got down to his undies, and wait for it, black wello boots.. To complete the ensemble, a shovel...In the midst of swearing and cursing, I was holding back laughter...At that moment he looked up at me, and I couldn't contain myself anymore...I did try to pass on a compliment by saying fireman January 1978...Mental note keep ones comments to oneself...until later...

Christmas in the olden days as our kids would say...

So imagine this...we are children all over again, and imagine living in a family that could not afford those expensive gifts. Stockings were filled with back to school gear...the excitement would build when opening your first gift to find a new pencil case, not just any pencil case but one you can put your name on...then a new sharpener, it just keeps getting better, and the biggest surprise of all, the new textas and coloring book to keep us busy for the school holidays....then there was that one year, the second hand bike turned up with the sissy bar and clickers on the wheels, basket donned with large flower...now this was wow factor...please post a comment if this conjured up some nice memories...

It's called living....

Dance like no one is watching...sing like no one is listening...work like you don't need the money...

I understand you, but just can't tell you in so many words...

Our son who is non verbal speaks with picture cards and gestures... My fears of him never speaking was just that, 'my fears'...

I used to think it would be nice to hear him say "hi mummy", and at that moment, he would walk in the room and smile in acknowledgement...I used to think it would be nice to hear him say "I love you mummy", but then I would stop myself and say why does it take words to tell you someone loves you, and let's not forget the biggest hugs and sloppy kisses...

This is my story, about my experience in acceptance and understanding that life has it's twists and turns, and the more you experience the more you inhale life...Everyone is different and no one else is me...Until next time...

We wish you a merry christmas and a lalalala...

Well here we are just about to hit the new season, time to dust off the tree and get frustrated with untangling the shitty lights, that we knew when we dismantled the tree a whole year ago, we should have put things away more tidely...Its a bit like packing to go on holidays...we seem to take much more care packing when we are enthused, but coming home a whole different story...Throw it in any old way, and sit on the suit case to close...

I always say next year I am not going to get caught up in the whole deal and let the kids control the decorating well it seems I don't mind doing it after all...Until next time...

Then there were three...

Well my eldest was to return home for the spring, but the choice came down to us or his girlfriend. You can imagine who lucked out...He has chosen the travel between the coast and the PA hospital...He moved out quicker than moved in..,so there you go...Once kids leave home it all changes, they get use to their own space, and doing what they like and when...I remember all too well...Good luck mate with your placement...xx

Life is an ocean, we should sail it...

Hello,

Wow I have noticed a few hits on Writbitz blog...I do hope that I keep you interested...

I bumped into some friends today and we stopped for a coffee...we talked about their adventures sailing the high seas...these friends yes friends possess a beautiful 50ft Benito! Give or take a foot...

We have been fortunate enough to sail with them with our limited knowledge of sailing, but we learnt pretty quick about different colour ropes...You feel ten foot tall and bullet proof out there in the openness...Aah the before Dylan days...Alas my blogger friends we still have the memories!

life is an ocean and we should sail it...xx

Everyone is different, no one else is me...

I have been working on an idea for either a book, or an article for sometime now, and trying to work out what angle to come from. I didn't want to focus on individuals feeling bullied or aggrieved. I didn't want to pull from only my experiences with our son, and just put my slant on this. No to get this message out there this had to be bigger than only my experiences...Of course all of these things will come through otherwise why would I be in this space to write about this topic. So here's the deal...I would like to get you all involved and ask for your feedback and any input or experiences you have had in relation to being a square peg in a round hole or just felt you didn't fit in...Oh by the way these are great attributes just let's not hide them away anymore...

Success...

Well howdy followers,

The writing bug has hit me with a slam dunk!

Had a very successful day at the markets yesterday...I would like to thank all my followers and supporters so far...I think to be successful you need to believe in yourself and your product...

A line I heard from of a movie..."Build it, and they will come" Establish how much money you want to make, or sales you want to achieve, and go for it!

I am having a ball!! Thanks to my new found friend Pam from Baysiderose...Her products are to die for...The soaps and just everything she sells is beautiful, and I have to be strong, or any of what I make I will spend...

We are being clever business people already, and teaming up to cut our costs...See you down there next week market buddy...

Come along and see for yourselves..

Catchya from Writbitz the writing bug....

Philosophy on the go...NEW Product...

Hi All,

I have started making my dream come true! I took a simple approach, and compiled some Tit Bitz of funny light hearted sayings/quotes as a gift idea...

They come in their own genre, and have to say I have had some laughs working with everyone on this project...

Below gives you some idea of those genre's currently out there in the market...

Pregnancy (first-time mum)
Best Friends
Couples (which includes redemptions to share between you both)
Friendship and Love
Soothe Your Soul

I am working on my next round which includes menopause...

Cost: $20 each or 2 for $36. Payment can be made via paypal (incl credit card). Invoices can be sent via email. Postage & handlng charges additional, and can be arranged within Australia.

I am also at the Cleveland markets with Bayside Rose who is such an adorable person to have as my market buddy...Come and see us down there...
